"Naples Zoo's black bear exhibit features a Native Habitat region and a Backyard Habitat region. Each glass viewing area had to be distinctive. The modern backyard viewing area resembles a lanai complete with faux 2" thick sliding glass doors. The Native Habitat region viewing is an old Florida cracker shack also complete with 2" thick glass viewing walls. The themed elements inside the shack had to give the feel of old Florida charm while still being durable enough to withstand hundreds of thousands of zoo visitors each year - year after year.
